SLHS Training for Business Actors in Suka Halal Foodcourt Canteen, UIN Sunan Kalijaga
OnTuesday and Wednesday, July 16-17, 2024, the Halal Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta collaborated with Bank Indonesia DIY to organizeSLHS (Sanitary & Hygiene Standard) Trainingfor the tenants operating in the Canteen / Suka Halal Foodcourt of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, which operates under the supervision of PPB (Business Development Center) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
The SLHS Training, held in the VIP Room of the Suka Halal Foodcourt, aimed to raise awareness among the business actors regardinghealth, cleanliness, and food safety. The goal is for them to gain knowledge and implement these standards in preparing and serving products to consumers.
During the opening ceremony,Izra Berakon, M.Sc., Secretary of the PPB (Business Development Center) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, delivered remarks, and the event was officially opened byDr. Imelda Fajriati, M.Si., Head of the Halal Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The training speakers were provided directly by theSleman Regency Health Office. Following the training, an inspection and laboratory test will be conducted on each tenant. The expected outcome is to meet the required standards and obtain theEnvironmental Health Inspection coaching label/sticker.
This initiative aims to establish the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Canteen / Suka Halal Foodcourt as aKHAS (Halal, Safe, and Healthy Culinary) Zonein the DIY region.
