The Halal Center of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta had the opportunity to serve as a resource person in the Technical Guidance on Micro Business Licensing for Sleman Regency, D.I. Yogyakarta, which was organized by the Sleman Regency Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises.

The event, held at the Prima SR Hotel & Convention, also invited other speakers, including representatives from the DIY Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Sleman Regency Health Office, the Yogyakarta Large Center for Drug and Food Control (Balai Besar POM), and the Owner of Super Goat MSME.

Following this technical guidance, the expectation is that the participants, as MSME actors, will become more aware of the importance of product legality before distribution. This is especially crucial given the growing global spotlight on the Halal industry ecosystem in Indonesia, which aims to ensure local products are not displaced by imports and can successfully scale up.
