On Monday, April 3, 2023, the Halal Center of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta partnered with Garda Transfumi under the DIY Regional Office of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop DIY) to organize a Training of Trainers (ToT) for PPH (Halal Product Assistance) Facilitators in the DIY Region.

The event, held at the Rectorate Building of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, was conducted directly by the Garda Transfumi Team. It began with welcoming remarks from Dr. Imelda Fajriati, M.Si., Head of the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Halal Center, followed by remarks from Tri Harso Wibowo, Coordinator of Garda Transfumi for the DIY Region. The event then proceeded with a practical session on assisting MSMEs in the creation of the Business Identification Number (NIB), led by the Team.

This event serves as an initial requirement for accelerating the goal of 10 million Halal certificates by 2024 across all product classifications, and to successfully promote the national campaign "Ayo BerNIB" (Let's Get an NIB).
