On Sunday, June 25, 2023, the Halal Center of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, represented by its Secretary, Diky Faqih Maulana, attended the Grand Launching of the Promotion House and Educational Tourism Center for Jadah Tempe Industry and the Inauguration of the Industrial Center in Tlogo Putri Kaliurang, Sleman.

This event served as the culmination of the assistance process provided to business actors in the industrial center, particularly the Jadah Tempe artisans in the Kaliurang area, who are under the guidance of the Sleman Regency Office of Industry and Trade.

The Regent of Sleman, Kustini Sri Purnomo, emphasized the necessity of regenerating local culinary center artisans to maintain a continuously improving economic ecosystem within their own community.

The Halal Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga contributed by assisting the business actors, especially the Jadah Tempe producers, through the application process until their Halal Certificates were issued. With the Halal Certificate, it is hoped that the value of each product will increase, and it will contribute to the success of the Government's priority programs.
