BCA (Bank Central Asia), in collaboration with the Halal Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, conducted aRegular Halal Certification Workshopacross 6 cities in the DIY-Central Java region (November 7-25, 2024). The workshop was held for 40-60 BCA customers in each city: Yogyakarta, Semarang, Solo, Pekalongan, Purwokerto, and Kudus.Dr. Imelda Fajriati, M.Si., Head of the Halal Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga, served as the main resource person.

This activity reinforces BCA's role in successfully implementing the Halal Mandatory policy in Indonesia. BCA has consistently supported Halal product assurance, providing approximately3,000 free slots under the self-declare schemein 2023-2024, in partnership with LP3H UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This involved providing assistance, especially to Micro and Small Business (UMK) actors across Java and several provinces outside Java.

The Halal Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta continues its efforts to ensure the success of the Halal mandatory policy through cooperation with various parties.
